Robbie is very smart. He has an uncanny ability to figure out a way to overcome many different obstacles. The unfortunate part about that ability is that most of those obstacles are put into place by us, his less smart parents, to try to do things like, uhm, get him to sleep. He used to have a step stool in his room to get into his bed - that came out when he used it to turn on his lights at night. To get him to nap when he wouldn't in his bed, we would put him in his tent - he has figured out how to escape.
A few weeks ago, we won a TV. This meant that we had an extra TV to put in his room. This was nice because it had a sleep timer and would turn itself off after awhile. We placed the TV on his high dresser, so there was no way he would be able to reach the TV to turn it back on - remember, no step stool in his room anymore. He found a way.
Yep, that is a basket for his toys that he dumped out and turned upside down (that is now out of his room too).
He may be smarter than us, but he will always be our baby boy (until he figures a way out of that).

Refresh!
Robbie enjoyed playing in the sprinkler. He couldn't quite decide whether it was a water fall or a shower - either way, it was fun!

HONK!
Robbie loves to play with noses. A one finger tap is a beep. A full fist of nose is a honk. Poor Uncle Mark is getting a full on HONK!

Happy Father's Day!
Robbie made his daddy a book for Father's Day. The book included pictures telling why Robbie loves his Daddy that Robbie had colored.
Robbie also made sure that his daddy won a new TV from Community Bank of Delaware (Robbie encouraged his daddy to enter a drawing for it). Granted, the TV will probably show more Thomas than anything else, but Happy Father's Day anyway.

Big Slide
We love Sydnee. We are so excited to see her graduate and begin a bold new phase in her life. But mostly, according to Robbie, we love the big slide! Robbie really loved the slide and the puppy. He wore out every adult at the party enjoying them all. Mega love to all of the Robbie watchers out there - if it were left up to his parents alone we would be dead right now.

Our Little Bookworm
I remember when I was a little girl I got in trouble a lot. One of the things that I got into trouble for quite frequently was reading in bed. I would have my flashlight under the covers to hide it from my parents, but somehow they always figured it out. Who knew that my son would have the same problem. When I went to bed last night, I did my last check on the dobber and this is what I found. He had strewn all of his books across his room. He had fallen asleep, not in bed, but on the floor with a book over his face. Of course it was a Thomas book!
